MAC Glamour Daze Collection 2012




MAC Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in A Natural Flirt is a creamy gold peach with a shimmery finish.  Swatched on my arm at the MAC counter, I couldn't pass up the so-my-kind-of-colour!  But unfortunately, on my eyes, the shimmery finish or 'extra dimension' did not translate and the shadow looks almost matte-ish and very flat.  What was even more disappointing was the price point - my jaw almost dropped when I saw that the tiny shadow was more than my blush or foundation.  Just crazy!  I really wanted to love the extra dimension eyeshadows, but overall, this was definitely a miss for me.

MAC Blush in I'm The One is a medium cool-tone pink with a satin (almost matte) finish.  Once again, I couldn't pass up this oh-so-girlie pink blush but this time I wasn't disappointed.  I'm The One is very pigmented and only requires a tiny amount of product on a very fluffly face/blush brush.  Overall, a definitely must-have for pink blush addicts  like myself.  I also love the glossy packaging for the MAC Glamour Daze Collection, just makes it that little bit more special.

P.s. Also, I re-purchased my favourite foundation MAC Pro Longwear in NC30 ... this would have to be my 6th or 7th bottle!  Provides full coverage but is super light-weight and doesn't feel cake.  Lasts all day, helps to control my combination skin and still looks 'fresh' at the end of the day.  What more could I want?

    I'm thinking maybe I should try out that foundation cause I'm looking for something that light on the face, I have tried their prolong wear concealer and I liked it =)

  5. Nice MAC haul Faye! Sorry to hear the shadow didnt work out it sounded and look pretty from the outside.... I heard about the ridiculous prices MAC is downunder.. it's already expensive in Japan I can't imagine being in Oz!
